Mr. Tim Simpson is in his eigth year as the Director of Instrumental Music at Briarcrest Christian School. Mr. Simpson is a native Memphian who graduated from White Station, where he participated in several All-West Tennessee and All-State honor bands.

He continued his involvement in band at the University of Memphis. He served as tuba section leader for three years, was treasurer of Phi Mu Alpha, and was vice-president of the band for two years. Mr. Simpson has also marched with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps of Canton, Ohio. He graduated with a BS in Music Education. In addition to his work in music, Mr. Simpson has also served as a youth minister.

Mr. Simpson has a great passion for instrumental music and practical vision for building young men and women of character and excellence.
